4-13-20   THOUGHTS

Well Good Morning Church.  It’s Monday, plain old Monday.  We’ve spent 4 days preparing our hearts and minds to partake in the historical and SPIRITUAL death-burial-resurrection of MESSIAH.  So now it’s over, at least our celebration is over...  Or is it?  There was a Monday morning following the actual event of our Lord’s resurrection.  It was not a boring series of days that followed.  Please read the sections of scripture that follow His resurrection from each of the gospels.  You will see that NOTHING WAS EVER THE SAME!
IT MUST BE SO WITH US!  WE HAVE WITNESSED
            THE BEGINNING OF ENTHUSIASM, NOT THE END!
Listen one more time to a very special passage. It UNLOCKS some marvelous KEYS to the Christian system.
Heb 10:19-20      Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,  20  by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh,
1Pet 3:18      For Christ also died for sins once for all, [the] just for [the] unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
John 6:63    "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.
Rom 8:10    If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
2Cor 3:6  who also made us adequate [as] servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

God has awesomely called us to BE ALIVE IN THE SPIRIT!
So this is a Monday morning of OPPORTUNITY...
                                    TO BE ALIVE AND GROW IN THE SPIRIT!

My Prayer:
Our Father and God of all, help each of us to guard our spirit with all care and diligence.  May our spirits rest in You.   Help us this day to live in your presence, may our hearts think on what You have done for us.  Help us to consider Jesus.  Accept our prayers as we pour out our hearts to you.  Thank you God for all that you have done in grace and mercy and love for
us through Christ Jesus.  Make us alive Oh God!
                  In the name of our Lord           Amen
